Daily Nutz Issue 3

Welcome to the third issue of Miss Lolita's Daily Nutz. Please feel free to comment and leave your opinions.

A comment was left on Issue 2

Herdarlinsin left this comment concerning the article about the 10month old on life support.

"Now I understand your point of view and such, but Child Services doesn't have the right to remove the baby from Life Support. Truly, not to me. Even tho the father may be a suspect, what about the mother's rights? To have Child Services take the child away from immediate family members is ridiculous by any means. Sure the grandparents are going to fight, it's their right to do so. Just because they haven't let him go yet doesn't mean they are being selfish. If it was you in their position, what would you do? I bet your decision wouldnt be so quick. And sometimes Child Services don't look out for the children. I've been there, I know. I think the family should be the ones to have the right to take him off of life support. But not keep him on it if long the reason he's being kept awake is forgotten. The child need to be thought of too. Other than what I have said, I agree completely with what you've said. But I still believe the mother, or immediate family members should let baby go. It can be court repremanded. Without Child Services. "

I then noticed I hadn't mentioned the mother had died. I couldn't find information on the mothers parents though so they may be dead as well. Herdarlinsin didn't know that until after I read her comment. So if you go back and read that article and are a bit confussed this is why.

I do agree that if the mother is alive she should have say so before the grandmother.

Is racism still alive in the south?

As I watched the Daily Buzz they talked about the South still being full of racism.

Before I comment on this let me point out I am NOT racist so don't send me horrible hate mail please.

Yes there is still racism here. But what I don't understand is that people keept lecturing the south because of this when in fact racism is in the North as well.

They say we see our faults in others and maybe this is the case as well. I have found that a lot of people assume that everybody in Texas or in the south is Racism and that we are hillbillys who marry our cousins.

This isn't true. Yes, I know people here who are racist but most of the people I know aren't. We aren't hillbillys either. Just because the South had slavery doesn't mean we are more racist then people in the North. I mean when slaves fled to the North people there didn't treat them perfectly either. So I don't see why the North has to look down on us and say we are all racists. I've seen a few news shows that have covered this issue and for some reason they always focus on the South. They should look in the North as well.

Prejudice is just one of my many petpeeves. I am not prejudice towards people so if this sounds like I am towards the North I'm really not. I'm just stating what I've been noticing lately thats all.

So whats your opinion on this? Is there in fact more racism in the South? Or should the media focus on the whole of the US and not just the South?

Too Much Micheal Jackson?

Well I don't know about ya'll but I'm tired of hearing about Micheal Jackson.

I mean come on people look at all the lying the family and kids are doing. Frankly I think yes he is disturbed. But I don't think he is mentally capable of molesting kids. I mean I've been molested as a kid and I've watched the documentaries on him and the court coverage and interviews with him they keep replying. He in his mind is a child. He reverted back to it to hide from reality and that makes him an easy target.

I think he should attend therapy and maybe some parenting classes but as far as him actually molesting them I doubt it. I seriously think mentally he just doesn't get it. I mean if you look at him now he is upset yes and maybe this is what it will take to bring him back to reality but come on people this is getting old. Show something different on the news.

I'm tired of hearing about the kids lies and all this. Frankly if the kids, parents, and other witnesses keep lying I honestly don't see why this case isn't thrown out.

Maybe the judge is out to make an example of him. Who knows. I just know I'm tired of hearing about it. Yes its important to make celebrities pay for their crimes. But theres reporting on it and then theres beating it to death.

So are you tired of hearing about it? Or are you enjoying all the coverage its getting?

Personal News

The BOS site is up and accepting submissions I am also looking for a partner to help me run the site. So go and read about that.

I am working on my short story today. A big thank you for everybody who took their time to help me answer my questions.

I am on my way to maybe making a new friend? Okay so we know about That Girl but now there is This Girl she IMed me yesterday and answered my bible quote question and chatted with me for a bit. Added me to her buddylist and I added her. She's a great girl so stop by and say howdy and click her hugs thing. I had fun clicking it non stop till the site finally shouted at me lol.

That girl and I came up with a name for this little Digi Pet which I am playing regardless of the suck factor of it. I just hate thinking I spent so much money and then no play it so its just collecting dust and become a complete waste. So I decided why not give it a try. So we named him "The disappointment of my wallet." Dis for short. I chose from the 25 not 69 pets a frog which right now is a tadpole and enjoys swiming and waging his little tail at me. He is sleeping now. Of course he just now went to bed. He didn't sleep at 12am when I was trying to sleep. He aslo was still awake when I woke up at 2am. So I wake up at 6am and now he's asleep. Strange little tadpole.
Dis is overall happy. He is a bit of a bad looser. He gets sad and cries when he loses a game. He likes to play this game thats like rock paper scisors. There is also another game he enjoys. It has two smilies that show one at a time. One on the left one on the right and you have to pick one. Pick the wrong one and he cries. Pick the right one and let him win and he is happy. I'm so confused by that game. I stick to rock paper scissors and then let him win.
Apparently if he is sad too much he will grow into a bad little frogie. *shrugs* Dis is such a pain in my ass. Oh well its actually a little fun taking care of something even if it is a small ectric toy.

My dog took my blanket. I think she is loosing it. She would go and lay in the middle of the closet entrance and my room. After about three minutes she would get up wonder around my room put her head in my lap give me sad eyes and after I pet her for a few minutes she would walk over to my bed. Look at it and then look at me. I would get up and pat the bed to tell her it was okay to get up and she looked at it and then looked at me and then went back to laying in the closet. She did this a few times until I thought maybe she wanted a blanket to make the floor more comfortable. So I gave her the only blanket I had the one I use on my bed and made her a nice little bed. She then laid down very contently. So now I just have a sheet. Oh well shes so cute I can't resist her. I think its getting to hard for her to jump up on the bed or down. She is histating a lot and is getting so she won't get in the bed unless I'm in there and I've had to help her a few times. Poor baby.
She is getting so old...I've had her since she was just a few weeks old and could fit in the palm of my hand. I don't know what I'll do without her. She is about 8 years old. How old is that in dog years? Is that old?

So anyway today I'm working on the story which is going to be called "Judge Not Lest You Be Judged" after my favorite bible quote. Yes I may be wiccan but I enjoy learning about other religions. The more I learn the better I can understand them and hold a respect for them. Which of course gives us tolerance towards each other doesn't it? I don't agree with everything the bible says but I do respect the Christians I know that actually live by it. I know some who love quoting it at me but in fact they break more of the commandments then I do! Hmmmm...something is wrong with that. So to all you Christians who aren't hypercrits who try to convert everybody and hold others in respect even if they don't believe like you I thank you. You are truly what Christianity is about and I wish more were like you.

I leave you,my people who are crazier than I am because you actually read this insane mess, with this comment. "In others we see our faults' reflection."
