The mother from 7th Heaven, actress Catherine Hicks, is telling people about this new national holiday. It seems people think that families have lost something because everybody is so busy and they don't have time to sit down at night and eat a dinner at the table with their familes. This made me think, Have we lost some family values? I think we have. I mean all of a sudden we have to have Super Nanny or Nanny 911 to come in and teach us how to control our kids. We are too busy to really raise our children so we just let the schools, tv, computers, and peers raise them. So maybe it is a good idea to sit down with your family for dinner and talk to each other. Of course this wouldn't work with my family. We always ate at the table when I was a kid and it didn't work to bring us closer together. So maybe it isn't for every family but it might be something for some to try. Of course I think its sad for the government to put a holiday on the calander so people will make time for eachother. What do you think? Have people lost some of their family values? A 10 month old little boy is in the hospital with brain damage and is in a complete vegetable like state. The doctors say he won't recover. It is believed that this was caused by Shaken Baby Syndrome and they are investagating the father. The mother of the child is dead. I also believe the parents of the mother are dead as I couldn't find anything on them. His grandmother, on his father's side, is battling the department of child protective services for custody of the boy. The Grandmother wants to keep the boy on life support. While if Child Services gets custody and the courts appoint a gaurdian for him the gaurdian may choose to take him off of life support. I personally think they should let the boy go. Its only doing him more harm then good to keep him alive like that. Its not really living. He's unconscious and can't speak or move. If a miracle is meant to happen then it will when he is removed from the life support. I think this is awful of people. They are only thinking of themselves and their own pain of loosing their loved one. I can understand keeping them on for a little bit to help you and other adjust but after a month let them go. Maybe the Grandmother isn't ready to let go or maybe she doesn't want the boy to die because then his father will be charged with Murder. Either way its for selfish reasons and yet another way that shows just how much Human Kind has gone downhill. People are only caring about themselves and not caring about others when they should. Let the boy go. His soul is trapped and you have no idea if he is in pain. Even if the pain isn't physical he could be in spiritural pain or mental pain that we have no way of knowing about. I hope Child Services gets custody. Whats your opinion on this? Take him off life support or leave him on? Public Libraries in San Luis Obispo County have now gotten permsion from their county to bann people who smell bad. This counts for people with B.O. or too much perfume. I think this isn't that good. If you've ever been in a really really bad neighborhood then you'll understand what I mean. First off a lot of homeless people only have access to public libraries to get newspapers to look for jobs or other reasons and if the weather is bad outside its the only shelter they have. Besides the homeless there are people who aren't that forunate and litterally can NOT afford soap or don't know where to get it for free. Now I know there are programs for stuff like that but that isn't the point. Not every single town or cities has those programs. If you have ever seen the movie From Homeless To Harvard then maybe you know what I mean when I say that some kids need the library to better themselves so they can make something of their futures. Do we really want to take that away from them because they stink? What next they smell bad so send them home from school and deney them an education? All because they don't have the luck that others have to be fortunate enough to afford to keep their clothes clean or to bathe regularly. I'm against this obviously but what about you? It's a good day for a resolution. "Many men owe the grandeur of their lives to their tremendous difficulties."

I have decided to change the layout of my BOS site before I put up all the pages and finish writing the essays and all of that. I think if I get the layout done first and then go into getting everything up it may be easier. Also I have to clean the kitchen when my dad goes to work. My mom said she would do it last night because she knew I was busy and that I wasn't feeling well. I wake up this morning at 3am and what do you know the kitchen isn't clean. Actually its worse then when I went to bed! So dad woke up and saw it and got mad and bitched at me. If mom wakes up before he leaves he'll bitch at her and then she'll come in here and bitch at me for not cleaning the kitchen even though she said she would. So I'm going to clean it today before dad gets home. Its rather annoying how she says I never do anything around here. When in fact I make sure I'm up at 5am to have my Dad's breakfast ready by 5:30am I vacum the house, dust the house, keep my room clean, do my grandmothers laundry, do laundry my own laundry and my Dad's uniforms when my mom is "sick". I cook super when my mom is "sick" and I wait on her. Oh well I guess thats considered nothing these days. Eh oh well. I'm just going to stay up and try and get an idea for my BOS's layout. Anyway take a Sneak Peek Well leave me a note with any comments on today's entry and I'll be sure to post them tommorow with a link to your site. Old Tears + New Fears = Lolita
